Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Roses

  • Author: Hannah
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 roses 1x

Description

These Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Roses are a fun and flavorful twist on traditional pizza. Made with crescent roll dough, gooey mozzarella, zesty pepperoni, and savory pizza sauce, they’re shaped like blooming roses for a beautiful presentation that tastes just as good as it looks.

Ingredients

Scale

Dough & Base

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

Fillings

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 package pepperoni slices

Extras

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Fresh basil (optional)

  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough
Roll out the crescent roll dough and press the seams together to form one solid sheet. Cut into 2-inch by 8-inch strips.

  • Add Sauce and Cheese
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce along each dough strip, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.

  • Layer the Pepperoni
Line pepperoni slices along the top edge of the dough, overlapping slightly so they peek out over the top like rose petals.

  • Roll the Strips
Carefully roll each strip into a rose shape, starting from one end.

  • Place in Muffin Tin
Place each rose into a greased muffin tin slot. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

  • Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.

  • Garnish and Serve
Let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh basil and grated Parmesan. Serve warm.

Notes

To avoid soggy bottoms, use just a thin layer of sauce. Muffin liners or silicone cups make cleanup easier. You can freeze them raw and bake straight from frozen.
