Instructions
- Prepare the Dough – In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Divide and Flavor – Separate the dough into portions. Mix in a few tablespoons of Jello powder into each portion. Add food coloring if desired.
- Shape the Cookies – Roll dough into small balls and coat lightly with additional Jello powder. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake to Perfection – Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
