Description

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken

  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Biscuit Topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  • Sauté the Aromatics
    In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic; sauté for 5 minutes until soft and fragrant.

  • Prepare the Filling
    Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer until heated through.

  • Transfer to Baking Dish
    Pour the filling into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.

  • Mix Biscuit Topping
    In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
