Ingredients
For the Filling

3 cups cooked shredded chicken

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

For the Biscuit Topping

Instructions

Sauté the Aromatics
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic; sauté for 5 minutes until soft and fragrant. -
Prepare the Filling
Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer until heated through. -
Transfer to Baking Dish
Pour the filling into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly. -
Mix Biscuit Topping
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined. -
Add Topping
Pour the biscuit batter evenly over the chicken mixture. Do not stir. -
Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling. -
Cool and Serve
Let the bake rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
Notes
