Description

Decadent, fudgy brownies swirled with creamy cheesecake and chunks of Milky Way bars, drizzled in caramel—these rich, layered dessert bars are a crowd-pleasing treat perfect for any sweet occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Layer

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

Cheesecake Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Topping

  • 1 cup chopped Milky Way bars

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it well.

  • Make Brownie Batter
In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar. Whisk in eggs and vanilla. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.

  • Make Cheesecake Layer
In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing until creamy. Pour over brownie batter and spread evenly.

  • Add Toppings
Sprinkle chopped Milky Way bars over the cheesecake layer. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and use a knife to gently swirl for a marbled effect.

  • Bake
Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.

  • Cool & Chill
Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until set. Slice and serve.

Notes

Letting the brownies chill before slicing ensures clean cuts and firm layers. You can substitute Milky Way bars with other caramel-based chocolate bars like Snickers or Mars.
