Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) fresh broccoli florets, cut into equal sizes
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp (3g) garlic powder
  • ½ tsp (3g) kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) black pepper
  • 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Wash the broccoli and pat it completely dry with a paper towel to prevent steaming. Cut florets into uniform, bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until every piece is evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the seasoned broccoli in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry for 7 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the edges are deep mahogany brown and charred.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and toss immediately with fresh lemon juice.
