Ingredients:

  • 2 sirloin or ribeye steaks, 1 inch thick (approx. 1 lb / 450g total)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp coarse black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the steaks completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
  2. Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil, then apply kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, pressing the spices into the meat.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket without overlapping and cook for 6 minutes.
  5. Flip the steaks using tongs and cook for an additional 4–7 minutes, or until the desired internal temperature is reached.
  6. Immediately remove the steaks from the air fryer and top each with a dollop of the prepared garlic butter (mixed butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley).
  7. Let the meat rest on a warm plate for 10 minutes before slicing.
