Ingredients:
- 2 sirloin or ribeye steaks, 1 inch thick (approx. 1 lb / 450g total)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp coarse black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the steaks completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
- Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil, then apply kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, pressing the spices into the meat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the steaks in the air fryer basket without overlapping and cook for 6 minutes.
- Flip the steaks using tongs and cook for an additional 4–7 minutes, or until the desired internal temperature is reached.
- Immediately remove the steaks from the air fryer and top each with a dollop of the prepared garlic butter (mixed butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley).
- Let the meat rest on a warm plate for 10 minutes before slicing.
