Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp refined coconut oil
  • 2 oz white chocolate

Instructions:

  1. Wash the strawberries under cold water while keeping the green stems intact to prevent water from entering the fruit.
  2. Gently pat each berry with a paper towel and lay them out on a clean kitchen towel for at least 30 minutes to air-dry completely.
  3. Finely chop the semi-sweet chocolate. Place them in a microwave-safe glass bowl with the coconut oil.
  4. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is smooth and melted.
  5. Dip each bone-dry strawberry into the chocolate, swirling to coat, and place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle over the berries. Allow to set in a cool, dry place or refrigerator for 5 minutes until firm.
