Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) English cucumber, peeled and finely diced
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) Kosher salt
  • 8 oz (225g) Full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp (10g) Small white onion, minced extremely fine
  • 1 tbsp (4g) Fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) Garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Toss the diced cucumber with Kosher salt in a small bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes to draw out excess moisture.
  2. Pour the cucumber mixture into a fine-mesh strainer and press down firmly with a spoon to expel all excess liquid.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce in a food processor; pulse until smooth and velvety.
  4. Transfer the cream cheese base to a mixing bowl and fold in the drained cucumbers, minced onion, dill, cayenne, and garlic powder using a rubber spatula.
  5. Stir until green flecks are evenly distributed and the dip is cohesive.
  6. Chill for 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to marry.
