Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup (60g) Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp (12g) Chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) Salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) Vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a 16 oz mason jar. Note: Stirring the dry ingredients first prevents the cinnamon from clumping.
  2. Pour in the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir vigorously with a spoon or seal the lid and shake for 30 seconds until no dry pockets remain.
  4. Inspect the bottom of the jar to ensure no chia seeds are stuck in the corners.
  5. Seal the lid tightly to create an airtight environment.
  6. Place the jar in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
  7. Let it set overnight until the mixture is thick and spoonable.
  8. Give it one final stir before adding your toppings in the morning.
