Ingredients:

  • 1 box (510 g) Premium Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • 115 g Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 Large Eggs, room temperature
  • 60 ml Espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 roll (465 g) Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 40 g Life cereal, lightly crushed
  • 85 g Semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 40 g Green sanding sugar
  • 40 g Brown and white football themed sprinkle mix
  • 60 g White chocolate melting wafers

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oven. Set your oven to 175°C and line your pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. Combine brownie base. Stir the brownie mix, melted butter, eggs, and espresso until no dry streaks remain.
  3. Spread the batter. Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Prep the cookie dough. Crumble the refrigerated dough into a bowl and gently fold in the crushed Life cereal and chocolate chips.
  5. Layer the top. Drop rounded tablespoons of the cookie mixture over the brownie batter until the surface is mostly covered.
  6. Add the greenery. Sprinkle the green sanding sugar evenly over the cookie dough layer.
  7. Bake the bars. Place in the center rack for 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely. Let the bars sit in the pan for at least 1 hour before lifting them out.
  9. Melt white chocolate. Microwave wafers in 20 second bursts until smooth and velvety.
  10. Draw the laces. Use a piping bag or a fork to drizzle small staple shapes onto each bar until they resemble footballs.
