Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely minced

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Fold in the shredded sharp cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until the ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is a uniform, pale orange color.
  3. Scoop the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Use your hands to gently mold the cheese into a tight, smooth sphere.
  4. Twist the ends of the plastic wrap to secure the shape and place the ball in the refrigerator for 60 minutes until firm to the touch.
  5. Spread the chopped pecans and minced parsley on a flat plate.
  6. Unwrap the chilled cheese ball and roll it across the nut mixture, pressing gently so the pecans embed into the surface until the entire sphere is completely covered.
