Ingredients:
- 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) Standard Cake Mix
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup (113g) Vegetable oil
- ½ cup (120g) Full-fat sour cream
- 1 package (3.4 oz / 96g) Instant pudding mix
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan and line the bottom with parchment paper. Ensure your eggs and sour cream are at room temperature.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix and the instant pudding powder.
- Add the oil, sour cream, and all four eggs to the bowl.
- Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the batter reaches a smooth, velvet-like consistency with no dry pockets of flour.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes. Test for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs attached.
