Ingredients
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 3 tablespoons unflavored protein powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons psyllium husk powder
- 4 tablespoons warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
-
Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 240°C (460°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Prepare the Dry Mixture
In a large bowl, combine almond flour, unflavored protein powder, salt, and psyllium husk powder. -
Form the Dough
Add warm water to the dry ingredients and knead until a cohesive dough forms. If the mixture is too dry, add a bit more water. -
Roll Out the Dough
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out until it’s very thin, approximately 1/16 inch thick. -
Cut into Chips
Remove the top parchment paper and, using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into triangle-shaped chips. -
Bake the Chips
Transfer the cut chips onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush each chip lightly with olive oil. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. -
Cool and Serve
Allow the chips to cool completely on a wire rack to achieve maximum crispiness. Once cooled, enjoy them on their own or with your favorite dip.
Notes
Seasoning Variations: Enhance your chips by adding spices such as paprika, garlic powder, or onion powder to the dry mixture. For a cheesy flavor, consider incorporating nutritional yeast.
Storage: Store any leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-5 days. If they lose their crunch, briefly reheat them in the oven to restore crispiness.
