Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 2 pounds baby potatoes or Yukon gold, halved
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1/4 cup olive oil or melted butter
- 1/4 cup water or chicken broth
Optional Add-ins
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
-
Prep the Potatoes
Wash and halve the potatoes. If using larger potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces to ensure even cooking. -
Season the Mix
In a large bowl, toss potatoes with onion soup mix, olive oil or butter, and water or broth. Stir until well coated. -
Transfer to Slow Cooker
Pour the seasoned potatoes into the slow cooker, spreading them out into an even layer. -
Slow Cook
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until potatoes are fork-tender. -
Garnish and Serve
Optionally top with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley before serving warm.
Notes
You can use a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup. Stir halfway through cooking for even flavor distribution. For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes after slow cooking.
