Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, approx 6 oz each
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Place fillets on the pan, season both sides with salt and pepper, and spoon the garlic-lemon mixture generously over each fillet.
  3. Bake on the center rack for 12–15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C). Remove from oven and let the salmon rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow carry-over cooking to reach 145°F (63°C).
